Specialising in personal training for the over 40's, we passionately believe that fitness, strength and good mobility are not the preserve of the young. It is never too late to start strength training but, as you move through the decades it becomes more important to do so and modes of training and levels of recovery and rehab may change. We incorporate more recovery, more mobility training and more targeted body building type work in your training as well as our own. We use methods that maximise the benefit whilst ensuring you build muscle and can function well.
Our own training patterns have adjusted over the years to accommodate some of the changes that happen with age. It is even more important to do things with purpose now than it ever was before. The benefits of being strong and fit into your older years are many but, in a nutshell, it is literally the reason you will thrive and enjoy your life in the for many years to come.
In regard to sports massage, we treat all manner of clients from those who require regular general maintenance for their daily lives to elite level athletes using a variety of advanced soft tissue techniques. The most rewarding aspect of the job is hearing that someone has experienced a reduction in pain or discomfort, a quicker return to activity or has greater range of motion as a result of their treatment.
